Let me ask you a few questions

Take a moment and see what resonates for you:

-Do you find yourself struggling in your relationship with yourself or others?

-Do the demands of daily life sometimes feel overwhelming to manage?

-Do you often feel unseen, unheard, invisible, or not truly valued?

-Are you carrying many roles at onceβ€”parent, partner, professional, caregiverβ€”and feeling stretched thin?

-Do you notice people-pleasing patterns showing up in your life?

-Do you struggle with indecision or second-guessing yourself?

-Does self-care feel difficult to prioritize or sustain?

-Do you wish you had more control over your emotional triggers and could regulate your emotions with greater ease?

-Do you experience chronic feelings of emptiness, a fear of abandonment, unstable relationships, or a deep uncertainty about who you are at your core?

-Do you notice sudden or unexplained emotional shifts?

-Does social isolation weigh heavily on you?

-Is social anxiety something you quietly battle?

-Do perfectionism and procrastination feel like constant companions?

-Do you relate to patterns of codependency?

-Lastly, do you identify with living with complex post-traumatic stress?

Living with these struggles can deeply impact your emotional well-being, self-worth, and relationships with yourself and others. You may notice increased anxiety, low mood, disconnection, or a persistent sense of being β€œtoo much” or β€œnot enough.” If any of this feels familiar, I want you to know you are not alone, and support is here for you. I work with adults who live with high-functioning anxiety, identify as codependent, were diagnosed with ADHD, Autism or are exploring neurodivergence, as well as individuals who are diagnosed with or experience traits of Borderline Personality Disorder. Together, we gently explore what’s underneath the patterns, at your pace, with compassion, safety, and care.

Why "The Psychotherapy Spot"?

One of my earliest memories is of my mother sitting in the same spot in our humble yet welcoming home, talking with her friends. In that spot, real life was shared. The stories of hardship, moments of laughter, tears, and hope. It was where people came to be heard, understood, and supported through their struggles. I remember watching in quiet awe as my mom’s friends would leave our home feeling lighter than when they arrived. Even then, I understood that something sacred was happening in that space. I simply called it β€œThe Spot.” My mom passed away when I was 19 years old but the memories of her experiences of helping others live on.

Was my mother a therapist? No. But she was deeply compassionate, present, and always willing to listen.

She created safety without even realizing it.

When I began my own journey into psychotherapy, I carried that memory with me. My heart knew I wanted to recreate a space that felt just as safe, just as non-judgmental, and just as grounding as that spot in my childhood home.

That is where the name The Psychotherapy Spot was born.

Today, my intention remains the same which is to offer you a space rooted in empathy, warmth, and deep respect for your lived experience. Behind that gentle presence is a foundation of strong clinical training, ethical practice, and evidence-based care. I offer individualized outpatient psychotherapy and counselling for adults, working with a wide range of mental health concerns, and providing a neutral, supportive space for both individuals and couples.

More than anything, I want you to know how much I genuinely care about the people who find their way here. You don’t have to carry everything on your own anymore. This can be your spot too-a place to breathe, to be seen, and to begin healing, at your own pace.
